Deadline: 31 January 2019
If you are considering becoming an entrepreneur, and are interested in using emerging technologies to tackle global challenges – this opportunity is for you.
About the competition
Thousands of schools and universities in the UK don’t currently have entrepreneurship programmes in place. This prevents tens of thousands of students from considering entrepreneurship as a viable career path.
To tackle this, Founders of the Future has created the F Factor, a National Start-up Competition for UK based school and university students.
If you’re between the ages of 14 – 25, your idea for tackling a Sustainable Development Goal using a technological solution will be turned into a product. The year long competition is made up of four rounds and offers the chance to:
- Win £10,000 – equity free
- Internship and Mentorship opportunities
Who can enter
Applicants must be UK based: SE/SW, London, Midlands/Wales, NE/NW, Scotland/Northern Ireland
There are 2 categories:
- 14 – 18 years old
- 19 – 25 years old
Timeline:
- Janauary 25, 2019: Deadline for online applications
- February – March 2019: Regional Semi-Finals
- April 2019: Regional finals
- May – June 2019: National finals. Each category has its own final
